You probably have other latent viruses hanging out in you. They'll probably never do anything, but they could. 10-20% of people who had chicken pox eventually get shingles.

I don't wanna think about that....

Bad idea - the bacteria are good for you.

Right now crawling all over your skin are bacteria such as Staphylococcus epidermidis (see below). These guys cause no harm AND take up a lot of space which is good. Think about it - what's better - having empty space on your skin or having lots of bacteria on your skin? The answer is of course having tons of bacteria all over you. There is literally no place on your skin that isn't colonized. This is good because there's no room. If there's no room it's very difficult for pathogens (disease-causing bacteria) to colonize your skin. Lots of your insides are full of them, too. Your stomach is full of bacteria that help you digest food. Kill them and you'll have all kinds of problems. That said there are places that should be sterile - live bacteria in your blood is a very bad thing. You shouldn't have any in your brain, lungs, etc. either.
