Nothing wrong with it though. If you start telling your kids it's wrong they'll feel all guilty about it. The best bet is tell them it's okay (keep that conversation short) and then send them an anonymous letter with tips to have success.

My mom won't let me take alka seltzer either (it can cause bad side effects if you have chicken pox...which I don't but my mom doesn't see the chicken pox part)

I got the shot when I was like 3, so did my brother and sister, and I still got it in 2nd grade. I was a pretty angry little kid.

Chicken pox isn't really that bad - you get the miss a week of school. The only problem is if you have had chicken pox you can get shingles at a later date.
