That is too close to having Bush again. I'm voting for Obama, but if McCain wins then I will just have to deal for the next four years and hope that I was wrong about him. But I honestly think that having Obama will be better, he is against war and from what I have seen this war hasn't really helped anything on our end. Gas prices are through the roof and I don't feel any safer. Maybe it's time we used something besides war to bring peace and safety.

I think McCain will not be the same as Bush if elected; Gas Prices won't come down regardless who becomes president; We were spoiled by cheap gas for years. Even if Obama pulls the plug in Iraq; Peace and Safety are fleeting; Something else will happen; We have had wars for thousands of years; World Peace ain't happening
I know that. McCain will probably win and if he does, oh well. As long as at the end of his term I'm still alive and don't have a tail growing outta my rear I'll be happy.

I don't really care for either candidates either. I'm going to run when I turn 35. I'm going to bull doze the white house and put in a trailer park and move in my whole family. How's that for a family oriented term.

But they're suppose to. They can get them for tax evasion (among other things).

Speaking of tax evasion, if you're a top guy in a company (CEO, etc.) and you "borrow" a piece of office furniture for home use, you're suppose to pay taxes on it since it technically a form of income.

But they don't get them for tax evasion or anything. I know plenty of drug dealers with no criminal record...most of them are just stupid 18-25 year olds who deal marijuana and nothing else.

 All I know is what I learned in my tax class and they used drug dealers as an example. But you can't pay taxes on bribes No

Any form of income is suppose to be taxed. Shovel your neighbor's walkway and he gives you $10, you're suppose to pay taxes on that. Wait Smack there's no snow where you live. Change that to mowing a lawn or babysitting. Even little kids selling lemonade need to pay taxes. Nod

When I get home I should quote my book.

You won't owe the IRS money if you make less than X dollars though, right? So if a kid makes $100 selling lemonade every summer the IRS won't ask for any of it I think.

It's too hard to get all those drug dealers - legalize marijuana (but not like heroin or anything) and that'll cut back on drug dealers. The Netherlands has legal marijuana and it all works out.

That's true, I think it was a little less than $8,000 last year. I could look it up but I'm too lazy.

However, kids are smart these days and can make $10,000 easily selling lemonade in one summer. Rolling Eyes

They could do that so long as lemonade is code for something else. Or they could be like Bart and sell nickel beer - even at 5 cents you'll get 10 grand.

What if it was a state flag? You don't see a lot of people making a big deal out of state flags for some reason. They say you should never, ever fly your state's flag higher than the nation's flag (unless you're Texas - they can fly theirs at the same height since Texas was once a sovereign nation). Personally, I think of myself as Californian more than American. Still I wouldn't go out of my way to disrespect either flag (burning, using it as a rug, etc.). It's just that if my fan blows my temporary curtain onto the floor I don't really get upset.

Stunned I wouldn't have guessed that last part. That's the way I feel. I would never get one (well duh!) but I sure as hell won't stop people from getting one. I hate to over-generalize and sound pretty harsh, but look at the people that get abortions. Very rarely is the woman married and well-off financially. The would-be mother is usually a 13-year-old drug addicted destined to raise a kid who will grow up to be the same.

Hawaii was ALSO once a sovereign lnd.....

McCain is not GWB

I get a kick out of those commercials that show McCain and Bush together; and McCain says he voted with him 90 percent of the time

And even if they were the same; Remember Bush won 2 elections; A so called Dubya clone [ as the Dems see it] may make it 3.

And that would be so lol2 if this strategy backfired on the Democrats

Yes it would be, the flag isn't supposed to touch the floor or ground. No
What if it was a state flag? You don't see a lot of people making a big deal out of state flags for some reason. They say you should never, ever fly your state's flag higher than the nation's flag (unless you're Texas - they can fly theirs at the same height since Texas was once a sovereign nation). Personally, I think of myself as Californian more than American. Still I wouldn't go out of my way to disrespect either flag (burning, using it as a rug, etc.). It's just that if my fan blows my temporary curtain onto the floor I don't really get upset.

I also would never get an abortion, but that wouldn't stop me from defending your right to get one.

Am I seeing "SoulGoat" in this post? LMAO
