I like non-pitchers, too though. The thing about baseball though is pitchers. I mean all the time you see a game on TV or you go to a game or whatever and one of the first things everyone says is "who's pitching?". They don't generally go "who's playing 3rd base tonight?"

LOL. Don't feel bad. I mean baseball is the only sport where one guy is that important. Go to Vegas and they'll have odds. It'll ALWAYS say who is favored and who is scheduled to pitch. When you place your bet you'll have a choice "make bet regardless or bet is canceled if scheduled starters don't start". Pitchers are just that important. I've never been to a Vegas casino where it said something like:
Tigers +120 (Brandon Inge)
@ Yankees -110 (Alex Rodriguez)

Lincecum's struggles continue although they weren't his fault.

For the third straight outing, Lincecum gives up 3 earned runs. This time he left having allowed 1 run with runners on first and 2nd with 1 out. Tyler Walker gave up 2 straight hits after coming in allowing both runs to score and be charged to Lincecum. The Giants and Lincecum beat Dan Haren 6-3 so Lincecum is now 7-1 for the 21-31 Giants.

His line:
7.1 IP, 118 pitches, 6H, 3ER, 3 BB, 7K
ERA shoots up to 2.33 though. It was 2.08 when he left, but that's Tyler Walker for you.

Stupid bullpen blew it AGAIN. 1 ER for Lincecum in 7.0+ innings but still, they should have had that

Giants lead 9-1 so barring complete disaster Lincecum wins

EDIT: With a lead that's now 10-1 they decide to take him out

Oh well, his ERA is 2.15 and barring a complete meltdown by the bullpen he'll be 8-1.

No decision for Lincecum. They lift him for a pinch hitter in the 8th and the Giants fail to score. His record is the same but the ERA is down to 1.99 at least.
