Yeah. We didnt even race. We went an hour away, took us two hours because every single road to their school was closed. But it was cool.

Yeah Im really sore from practice now. We did an Indian run for 30 minutes then we did leg work and ab work. Then a 20 minute cooldown.

Arg.
And todays gonna be worse.

So yeah. Race tomorrow. Its gonna be nice weather which means a good time.

I ran varsity today!!! I did pretty good too, PR'd with a time of 22:42

Race today, I dont think Im running varsity But Im feeling good so itll be a good race.

So we didnt even have a Varsity or JV team, we all ran as a team, I made varsity for Saturday, and increased my PR to 21:35. Finished 18th overall out of 3 schools so I did pretty good.

Downfall: I twisted my ankle really bad, right now Im icing it and keeping it up, and Im gonna wrap it up when Im done with this.

So, I have a predicament. My ankle kills me right now, and up until we start practicing it hurts. After we start running its all good though.

Havent updated this in a while. My last race was horrendous, I didnt even want to talk about it originally. But yeah we dont have any races this week. I think thats mainly cuz homecoming is on Saturday. its gonna be awesome! =Þ

When is your next race?

This coming saturday. Its our last race of the season unless some of us make it to districts or regionals.

I think due to one of my previous race times I have an automatic bid into districts, and regionals seem more out of reach. I doubt Ill be in regionals.

I finally got into my ortho today too. He gave me a knee brace and told me to run with it so Ill have to see how mobile I am in it.

So yeah I really think I messed up my chances on running varsity saturday.

Race tomorrow.
Im so nervous cuz it might be my last race of the season. But what really hurts is the fact that not even my own parents could come to see me race. My mom just never could, and my dad never wanted to if he could. No one was ever there to motivate me and inspire me to do better. I was always hurt by that this season, and tomorrow is my last race and I dont think I'll do good because yet again, nobody from my family will be there to support me.

Your big "Tiger" sister "GoGetEm" is with you in spirit! Run a great race for your DTF1 family, we are all behind you, cheering you on!

Thanks GoGetEm. Alot. It just depresses me that my family couldnt even find time to come to one race, we even had 3 races at home, and they couldnt come. Ill run a good one tomorrow for you guys, and it will be a PR.

I know how you feel, from personal experience. Do it for yourself! You will find (as you already have) that those who should support you most, will fail you. In this "me first" world, your parents don't even see how it hurts you. Thousands of kids (and adults) go through this daily. Just remember we are here for you, as is God. He is up there feeling your hurt (when you hurt), as well as your joy, when you do well.

Do your best tomorrow, and you will make many happy, including yourself! Who knows what God has in store for you, in your future. And hard as this is, you will learn, and grow from it! Maybe, someday, you will be the encourager to someone who feels as you do now!

Go get em tomorrow! Try your best and be happy to know we are there for you!!!!!
