They always do that type of stuff in video games. If you look closely you can see Ford Field in the outfield only they never call it Ford Field.

I don't think that's the exact reason they pulled him (Bochy let him throw over 120 pitches in a lot of games last season).

The game was 0-0 after 8 and Lincecum was due up to bat soon. I think they wanted some offense. That didn't work.
