I got Tigers tickets! To 10 games!

Diamondbacks tickets went on sale at 8:00 AM my time.

I can't believe how easy it was. No virtual waiting rooms or anything.

My 3 tickets to them cost me $129.50. 2 of the games were "premium" games and cost $10-14 extra depending on location.

My seats are as follows:

Friday: Section 316, row 9
Saturday: Section 316, row 3 *CHRIS YOUNG BOBBLEHEAD DAY*
Sunday: Section 122, row 24

I got Padres tickets!!

For Friday: Section 102, Row 21
For Saturday: Section 300, Row 19 (2 tickets, my dad is going)
For Sunday: Section 112, Row 36 (2 tickets for this game, too)

The Sat/Sun game the tickets weren't as good because it's harder to get 2. No waiting room for the Padres either!

Oh yeah, the Angels

Unfortunately that series is during the week - M-W. I'm going home the weekend before that (Memorial Day) so I don't know if I'll make the Monday game. I can't make the Wednesday game due to school. I bought a ticket for the Tuesday game.

Tuesday: Section 521, Row P
This was $26.05. Better seats weren't really available (I'm not paying $30 for field level at the foul pole! I sat there once and I hated it). Tickets are way too expensive in Anaheim.

Too bad I'm in school - I'd be able to go to 3 A's games and 2 more Angels games if I wasn't. That would put me at 15 tickets (after the Giants tickets next week).

Amazing how much easier it was for Cat to get his tickets; Compared with the mad rush for Tigers Tickets yesterday.

It's one thing to skip class, but the A's are 400 miles away. I might skip class for the Wednesday Angels game. I'd only have to miss one class that goes for 50 minutes. The class hasn't started yet so I don't know if I can miss it and if that day is something important (midterm, etc.). If I can skip it I will

I don't know what other features matter. The reviews seemed to suggest it was one of the better cameras in the $300-400 range.

I was most concerned with the zoom so I went with a long zoom over tons of MP. 8.1 should be plenty. They say you can make high-quality 16X20 prints with that. When would I ever want larger? 8X10 is too big! I like 4X6 (or whatever it is)

Unbelievable these MPs now.

I remember getting thrilled when they came out with the 1.5 mp models. My current, battery eater, is an HP 4.1 mp Photosmart with 18x zoom. It was a closeout at Sams Club. I was able to get it for about 1/2 price. It is good, but don't use the flash otherwise, poof go the batteries!

Luckly, most digital cameras use memory cards so you can always change to a higher cap. card for more pictures.

Nice camera catbox!!! I can never make up my mind when buying stuff like that!!!

I snagged a Fuji 6.5 MP when it came down to $150 on QVC.

yeah, QVC does have some good deals sometimes, they had that Big Bonanza Silver thing going on all day yesterday and I LOVE silver, I stayed away from the TV, LOL

Total QVC addict here. Not much recently, just every now and then. I've tried so many brands on there and now am kind of wising up like gee! I don't really need all this crap!

I got a 1 MB flash card for mine (or SD card or whatever that type of card is called ) for like $20 and it came with a USB thing so I can hook the card up to the computer without hooking the camera up. It's amazing how many pictures that little card will hold. It's like the thickness of a dime and smaller than a half dollar yet it holds 500 pictures.

I remember the first digital camera my mom bought. She wanted one that used floppy disks because they were so great Sure they're cheaper but it takes 700+ of them to fit the information of 1 of those cards! Heck, I can't even fit a high-quality picture on a disk - they're too large

I took a computer class in jr. high and the teacher kept ranting and raving how great Jaz disks were going to be - they held an entire GIGAbyte of data! Sure, the disks were like $100 each, but one or two of them and you could back up your whole hard drive (not anymore though - you'd need hundreds!)
