42 degrees (feels like 35)! Low 31. Rain showers this evening mixing with snow showers overnight. Winds SW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of precipitation 60%. High tomorrow 31, low 25! Sunrise, 7:40am.

Most of the snow here is the heavy ,wet sloppy stuff. Like shoveling oatmeal off your driveway

Though I would settle for that right now

That sucks, I always hurt my back shoveling that kind... thank god for Lake Michigan

Why shovel it? It'll melt eventually.

You can't depend on a regular storm to develop

Ever try to get your car out of a foot of sloppy wet snow?

All we get is wind or rain from them

Only gonna be 27 next Tuesday but no Snow! 47 on Sunday with Rain!

Both are so corrosive, both to roads and to cars.

All the surrounding states (Ohio, Indiana, New York, etc.) have switched to sand and their roads aren't nearly as bad as ours. Yeah, the weight limit on trucks has a lot to do with it also, I guess. I just think that they use salt way too much on our roads; sometimes when they don't even have to.

Our roads are bad too....and we just use sunshine!!
