The rain is moving out of the Northeast: No weather problems in Boston; However it will be brezzy and cool; No weather problems for a stadium[ Chase Field] that has a roof unless the roof gets stuck or leaks: Gonna be warm and dry for the D-Backs anyway!

Stranger things have happened. The Skydome/Rogers Centre had a game postponed once when part of the roof broke/fell off.

True! However I am glad the series is moving to Denver: Hopefully it will be chilly; Seeing postseason games at Chase Field reminds of Comerica Park this season: Hot Weather and the Umpires wearing their black shirts for all the D-Backs home games: like they can't wear the light blue shirts once: They have worn them in philly twice, Chicago once and just the plate ump once in Boston:

I hope we have nice chilly weather in April: I am gonna buy my that new Majestic Dugout Jacket: I want to be able to wear at the Copa, but with all those Cub like Days at Comerica, I doubt it:

Too much sun at the Copa; even if it is 60, the sun makes it hotter: Miss the nice shade at Tiger Stadium:

Detroit weather; sunny and windy Highs around 57: Sunday: Sunny Highs 64: Less wind, be a good day for me to cut my grass and mulch up all the leaves and shit that blows over from the Community Center Park; Why the city of Lincoln Park doesn't fence the perimeter of the park is beyond me: I have one small tree in my backyard, but I get a million leaves and garbage from that park everytime we get a gusty west wind; [ which is like every other fucking day arond here]

Sorry about that rant: Getting back to the weather: Highs in the 60s next week with a chance of rain by Tuesday:

At least put the flag back in play! What did it hatch out of the ground before the fences were moved in? I remember that the original Tiger Stadium Flagpole was supposed to be used when they moved to the copa ; never happened though

You gotta love that nice chilly weather tonight in Denver! Larry Vanover wearing a old school style coat rocks! Too bad the other five umps did not wear them! It has been a long while since that has happened! Even seeing the plate ump wearing them is rare these days! Usually the home plate ump wears a long sleeve shirt [ which looks stupid] on chilly days while the base umps wear jackets;

I found this text:
"Soon after it opened, Comerica Park received complaints from players and fans alike concerning its expansive outfield dimensions, which made it a difficult park in which to hit home runs. The vastness of the outfield engendered the sarcastic nickname Comerica National Park. Although a few public figures (notably radio announcer Ernie Harwell) supported the dimensions, most agreed that the left-field wall, in particular, needed to be brought closer to home plate. Prior to the 2003 MLB season the club did so, moving the distance from left-center field from 395 to 370 feet (from 120 to 113 meters). This also removed the flagpole from the field of play, originally incorporated as an homage to Tiger Stadium."

Is that the reason?

That's why the flagpole is no longer in play. The real question is why the flagpole at Tiger Stadium wasn't moved to Comerica Park like it was supposed to. That flag pole is still there! Someone should rot in hell for that!
