I don't have a job anymore

And the anniversary of my dad's death is in a couple days

Actually July is always a tough month for me


My ex wife left me on July 20th 11 years ago


And my two other serious girlfriends dumped me in the month of July


The only three women I ever really loved

Life sucks!

I still keep a picture of my ex wife wearing her high school band uniform hidden in my wallet


And I still have plenty of pictures of the other two;


I still have strong feelings for them I guess

Why am I even doing this to myself


My ex wife; who left me for another woman, lives in Brighton Michigan;


One ex girlfriend now lives in Rochester Minnesota; another lives in Port St Lucie Florida


The one in Port St Lucie married the man she dumped me for

Sad!


I bet they are all happy and prosperous!

Sales jobs are boring


I want to do something with my life

I wish I could be rich and famous; then my ex's would see me and regret ever dumping me

And I really would want to do something else in life

Or a Pro Wrestler

But I am too short 5-9 and look like a sack of potatoes with arms and legs for a body

Of course I could hit the gym

or take steroids and get ripped

Or go into Politics

Or be a TV Weatherman


Or be a stand up comedian

or a DJ

Or a zamboni driver

You know what I don't understand is how you get experience in something else when no one will give you a job in the first place


How does one get political experience

or driving a Zamboni

or being a TV weatherman or be on radio or do comedy in a club


I got a fooking College Degree and all I know how to do is sell insurance?


A fucking monkey could do that job

Maybe I should just blow the rest of my money on buying lottery tickets and casinos


Maybe i will hit it rich


Better chance of that happening than ever doing something in life I want to do

I know how you feel - I've got a bachelor's degree from what is supposedly a good school (and an A.S., too!) and the best I can do is flip burgers and I just can't get myself to do it. I did that for 2.5 years in high school, I won't do it again.

That is the problem;

And to make matters worse; I see so many jobs that require you to invest your own money; In the Heritage Newspaper; they have job ads for jobs that pay 20 bucks an hour but you have to pay 180 bucks through an employment agency up front to get considered or jobs that promise high paying government jobs but you need to spend 59.99 on a book to better pass a civil service test

Another example; Unity Studios is building a movie studio in Allen Park; They had a town hall meeting for people interested in working for them; Turns out most of the jobs require people to spend 5-10K to take a 15 week crash course in movie production

Madonna University

They do; But I dropped out of Grad School

And I am on Academic Probation as well

I hate dealing with that school



Only reason I even went there was because it was either there or Baker College


I wasn't much of a student in High School and I am not a minority so big name colleges weren't gonna let me in


In a related note; I read an article in Sunday's Free Press in which a homeless Native American got his GED and is now a student at U of M

How in the hell can so one get a GED and go straight to U of M? The Harvard of the Midwest

I could see if the guy went to Community College or Baker or something than transfered over; but to go from Adult Ed to the Best University in the State

And I bet he is getting a free ride because he is Native American

Plus I have been fired from almost every job I have ever had or quit;

I got fired from Chyrsler; [ after my Grandpa helped me get in] I got fired from driving a limo because I got in too many accidents; I drove a cab; but quit after I got car jacked; I got fired from the Airport; I used to work in fast food and at Farmer Jack; Those jobs I quit; I did telemarketing for the Free Press; and outside sales for Magik Windows; then my uncle got me in selling insurance; until I got canned

I can't drive a Hi-Lo or fix stuff; My Computer Skills suck; That is why I got in trouble in Grad School because so many classes were online
