| I have a random story...
Every time I try to rewind a tape in my VCR, it shuts off. Then when I turn it back on, the tape ejects. Then after I put it back in I can rewind it. It gets really annoying. I was going to tape 24 because of the game, but after seeing the Tigers down 9-1, I thought 24 would be better entertainment.
I think the most shocking part of that story is that I still own and use a VCR. | |

They're only like 75 cents at Goodwill so I probably should get one before the tapes fall apart. I think my dad might have a VCR somewhere if nothing else. | |

-------- Oh yeah, I don't have a non-HDTV anymore I got my 40'' LCD on Friday. My idiot sister has a non-HDTV still - it's the only one left in the house. She makes more money than me so I'm not sure what her problem is | |

| I got rid of my working TV because it was too small in terms of screen size but way too big in terms of actual size. The TV barely fit on my TV stand. Now my new one is way slimmer and it doesn't look like my stand is ready to break.
The old TV is in my sister's room so it's not a total waste. The 19'' TV that was in my sister's room is now in a spare bedroom at my aunt's house where she had no TV before. I doubt she'll ever use it there as it isn't hooked up to cable or anything but it's there. | |

| I have an old RCA tv in my room that we've had for-ev-er and it still works great. I have bought 2 new tvs in the last 4 years for the family room and they were both shit. Name brand too.
The only reason I don't have a vcr is because the last one I had started eating tapes and I just never got it fixed or bought a new one. | |

Hopefully it ain't going to the dump Imagine how many TVs are filling up landfills because of the digital changeover Can't be good | |

| Actually, we're quite fond of TVs around here. We store tons of them in the garage. My mom wants to give them away or throw them away but I keep saying I'll move out someday (even though I probably never will ) and I'll need the TVs. I collect old video games and you don't need an HDTV to play Atari. It'd be neat to have about 8 TVs set up in a room full of video games. | |
