The author is only "dreaming" of a Christmas complete with snow, perhaps reminiscent of his youth.

I can't remember the last white christmas here in switzerland! :'(
So the chances are low that this will change this year.

But we will (and already have) snow in the mountains. And that's exactly where i want it!

Snow would be nice though! Heck it even snowed in Spongebob's Neighborhood on Christmas; I don't know how it can snow underwater in Bikini Bottom but it did! LOL!

I think we'll have a TINY bit of snow on Christmas. I don't like snow, but on Christmas it's kinda necessary or it's just not right

Well, probably....NOT. It gets cool here, but most of the time it isn't cold enough when it rains in the winter for snow to stay on the ground here. We had some in January 2004 (right around when LSU won the Sugar Bowl and football championship), that's really the last "snow" you could have considered here, that I remember anyway.
