Had? I've still got another hour and 45 minutes! Mine was pretty good especially after we finally got rid of my family.

It's still not the same as being little kids. Every year my parents spend more money but we get less stuff. Nowadays we get laptops and stuff for Christmas where before we only wanted small toys. It was crazy to walk out into the living room when we were little - the whole room was full of presents because 99% of what we wanted was under $20.

Now all we want is electronics and cash. I don't like kids but Christmas makes you think that maybe they wouldn't be so bad...too bad you couldn't get rid of them the other 364.25 days a year

Nothing like the look on an under 6 year-old's face on Christmas morning.

Agreed:
1) Parents can be real tools.
2) Kids should be rent-able for Christmas morning!

I must be getting old or something. I was watching some stupid Christmas movie today and there were these little kids opening presents and I felt all nostalgic and what not

Nostalgia is a Christmas byproduct....but so is peace, love, and joy. Embrace it....

I am glad it is over! At least we won't hear anymore Christmas music until November 1st next year

It was almost a week before Halloween when I heard it from The River, a local radio station....

Hey, how was Mass for you? Did you make the midnight one? I played/sang for 3 of them at our local parish.

nooooo....I still can sleep the whole night thru on weekends. It wouldn't be hard for me to change my shift! lol

I haven't been to midnight mass in about 5 years. I liked going, but then I would get less sleep. We've been going to the 4:00 mass lately.

There's another church around here who changed their midnight mass to 10:00...

We changed ours to 5 PM from 4 PM, then Spanish Mass at 7 PM, then our last one. *yawn* and then 10 AM Christmas Day....
