I think my favorite current stadium is Safeco Field. Even though I've never been there...

I saw a picture of it in Sporting News Magazine
It looks a lot like the old Yankee Stadium

They should have just stuck with the old one. The new one looks okay (in pictures at least...I'll pass final judgment when I see it on TV) but what was wrong with the old one :shrug:

Actually, the fact it looks like Old Yankee Stadium makes the new one even worse - if you are just trying to copy what you used to have why even bother? Isn't the whole point of getting a new stadium to replace a stadium that looks like crap?

Thats redonculous to me. I would have at least made some sort of visual change.

For example: going from the Astrodome to Minute Maid.

Or something less durastic: Tiger Stadium to Comerica

But I like how Yankee Stadium was not sold for a corporate name
