| There's hardly any Latin in my husband's church now anyway...just a stray hymn line here and there... | |

| Well, Latin is not the language of the church Jesus begun. They spoke Greek and Hebrew back then. It was the Catholic church that started Latin, not Christ..... or Peter! | |

Yeah, that's what I said a while back. Basically, if your neighbor accidentally runs over your cat - don't shoot them. While it's perfectly reasonable to be mad at your neighbor, it is not reasonable to run their cat over (unless it's truly an accident - and not just something that looks like one). :haha: Yeah, don't kill the neighbor's cat, even if he kills yours. One of my neighbors killed one of my cats once. I didn't even call her a bitch, even though I wanted to. Even though I say it in my head everytime I see her I didn't say you couldn't call her a bitch I just said you can't kill her cat.

What's horrible about that? I don't major in anthropology so it isn't essential that I remember everything I learned about human evolution. I know all the major aspects.

What did I confuse you with? You called me horrible. I asked why. All I said is I don't know much Latin, and mentioned some stuff I learned in evolution classes.

LOL. I thought you were calling me horrible for studying evolution or something. It's part of my major requirements for some reason and as a scientific person it's pretty hard to refute evolution with such overwhelming scientific evidence in its favor. I would also argue that believing in evolution doesn't imply that creationism is necessarily wrong, but I won't explain that unless someone cares.

| I've been inside a Catholic Church before. Oh wait, Christ Church Cathedral and St. Patrick's Cathedral are both Protestant even though just about everyone in Dublin is Catholic Still, they're pretty nifty looking... Oh yeah, I've been in a Mosque, too....not a fancy one, just a small one in Toledo (that's the former Spanish capital Toledo, not Ohio). I'm yet to visit a Synagogue though Christ Church Cathedral: St. Patrick's Cathedral: Mosque: | |

June of 2005. I left LAX on 6/20 (which was the day after both Father's Day and my mom's birthday) and took a nonstop to Dublin arriving the morning of 6/21. A month later I was home. I also went to Waterford, Belfast, London, Paris, Madrid, and Lisbon.

| I'd like to see Scotland. Actually, I have technically seen Scotland - taking a tour in the areas outside of Belfast you could see Scotland across the water. Of course we didn't cross the water, but you could see it. Of course using that logic I've seen Canada and Greenland, too (out of a plane window!)
If you go back, be sure to see Belfast. It's safe now and really a neat city.

| My paternal grandfather's side came from Scotland, so it would be really neat to see. I have no familial connection with Ireland but it is home to many Celtic tribes, of which I consider myself a part of at least one! | |
