With all due respect, he was FORCED to be a Nazi. He was in a Nazi school or something like that which was mandatory.

No.... Following his fourteenth birthday in 1941, Ratzinger (the pope) was enrolled in the Hitler Youth — as membership was required for all 14-year old German boys after December 1939— but was an unenthusiastic member and refused to attend meetings. His father was a bitter enemy of Nazism, believing it conflicted with the Catholic faith, according to biographer John L. Allen, Jr. In 1941, one of Ratzinger's cousins, a 14-year-old boy with Down syndrome, was killed by the Nazi regime in its campaign of eugenics. - gs78 wrote:

Calling the Islamic prophet "evil and inhuman" is a deplorable display of intolerance. As I am not catholic and have no allegiance to this, or any, pope I will cease defending him because of this comment.

Hitler was Catholic (or at least Christian) and he killed anyone who refused to not be Jewish or Aryan.

Regardless I don't really like any of them. I liked John Kerry but he's not running. They're all better than the likes of Huckabee and Al Sharpton though.

Ron Paul should have been nominated Yeah, I probably would have voted for him as I don't care for the two major nominees. I'd still prefer a Democrat to my liking but the problem with Democrats is they get too liberal where they shouldn't and not liberal enough when they should.
