I have something to add to this...

So I'm in the library doing my homework and without going into too much detail, things started disappearing. Basically, think of records, like a set of transactions. I'd filter out, lets say all that's over $500,000 and you can clearly see a couple hundred on the screen. I do a count command and it says "2." I do a sort command and records magically disappear from the screen. confused

Not sure if this counts (why wouldn't it?) but my landlord calls me (at 7:30 AM I might add rant

) and asks how I'd like to pay for my broken window. I didn't know what the hell she was talking about as I've never opened the blinds at my apartment since I realized that the party-goers think that wall is a urinal but it turns out one of my windows has been broken. I didn't break it, why should I have to pay for it?

Okay, I need to rant.

So my brother gets mad last week. He punches a whole in his door. My mom notices but doesn't tell my dad cause she knows he will flip out. But he noticed earlier. He didn't say anything then went off about how he doesn't even want to look at him, saying he needs to go to anger management. He was yelling about how our house and our family looks like trash and that he doesn't help. Well you know what My room is clean, my stuff isn't laying around, and I dress and look nice... always. He is the one who has stuff laying around in the backyard. He is the one who has his clothes all over the house. He is the one who has all kinds of other stuff. Yes, the dogs and rest of the animals have fur that gets everywhere - BUT I am pretty sure that I don't have fur so it's not my fault!

And, my brother mows the lawn a few times a week. I water flowers, that I planted, every day.

But then of course, you mention how my sister never does ANYTHING around here and he gets all pissed off becuase she is working 2 jobs. SO WHAT! She has a dog that I take care of.

I would keep hangin' in. It sucks right now, and you just gotta vent every now and then to keep sane, but once you are out of HS and on your own, it will be soooooooooo sweet!

It took 2 and a half hours to get a pizza delivered last night after they told me 30 minutes. I called to complain after 2 hours but of course this is America so god forbid the guy on the phone speaks English. After about 8 tries he finally understood my phone number and explained that they were busy and pizzas should take about an hour so I still have another 15 minutes or so to go. Umm...I ordered at 6:30 and it was 8:30 - that's more than your 1 hour. Luckily the delivery guy was super incompetent and didn't have the proper paperwork for me to pay with my ATM card so he just had me sign a receipt and I didn't tip him a cent.

But wait, there's more!
The pizza was iced cold but that's okay as I have a microwave, but I also ordered breadsticks (as per bobrob2004's recommendation) and they didn't include any marinara sauce with them grouch

Yet another rant...

Ever since the brand-new Ronald Reagan Medical Plaza opened basically right across the street from me helicopters are constantly flying over my apartment and since they're landing nearby they fly low enough to be quite loud. This goes all day and all night. I don't normally wish harm to people I don't know but I can't help but thing "I wish that helicopter would crash" every 5th helicopter or so ashamed

The fact that someone broke one of my windows (see a couple posts back) probably doesn't help with the noise.

Other than living here I don't think I've been to LA more than a couple times. Sure, I went to Disneyland more times than I can count but I can only recall one occasion where I stopped in LA in my whole life. It's not that far either - I don't live in Eureka... LA is about 2 miles closer than SF yet I've been to SF like 50 times.

San Diego isn't bad but I like SF the best. SD has warmer weather but you have to be careful as it'll get hot there. There is a lot of military history in SD so if you like that there you go. If not, SD probably isn't your place.

It's a dump though. There's bums everywhere (then again that's all of LA), the buildings are run-down, etc. There's some relatively neat stuff, but I wouldn't want to wander around Hollywood by myself at 2 AM.
