Rod & Mario quotes

I thought it would be fun to post our favorite R & M quotes:

From opening day, I think it was Rod who said about Leo Nunez, "he weighs about 169 - 171 pounds soaking wet".

Oh what was it? A Nationals game last year, Casey didn't have a home run yet (I think that's how it went) and when Casey came up to bat, Mario said "I call it right now!". Casey's following hit was about six inches short of a homer and he and Rod were freaking out.

Good times.

Rod's ever-so timely, "He threw the cheese!" "throw him some cheese" and other related comments!

oh yeah--Rod talking about JV's pitching:

"he is just filthy!"

LOL these guys are 2 much...I want to meet them this summer!

Rod always says, "he really had to get on his horse for that one". Mario says, "he ran out of real estate" a lot.
Last year they were playing somewhere where the bullpen was kinda out in the open and someone hit a ball right at them and they all ran and Mario said, "someone saw a mouse". lol

Rod Allen Rules! After the Opener, I was walking in the concourse and saw him doing the post game show on FSN. I even took a picture for a couple fans that were standing next to him.

Am I the only person in the world that don't have a digital camera?

We love Rod! We met him and have talked to him a couple times when we were in Ohio. Mario isn't as frendly, but if you talk to him he will talk back to you. They are pretty sweet!

We were within 10 feet of Rod at the game we went to last summer. He really takes the time to talk to people. You don't find that much these days!

man, they really had to up their professionalism for today and not rank on our Tigs! although the temptation certainly must have been there!

They showed a clip of Guillen working out tonight and R & M said he looks like he's practicing for "Dancing with the Stars". Then Rod told Mario he should go on DWTS and Mario said, "oh yeah, that would really boost the ratings."

I missed that!!

On the post game show they were talking about how Nate left the game injured and they were talking about all the injuries and Mario said, "they're going to have to stop dropping like flies"
