To paraphrase DH, Gary said in his book that he was caught up into the scene of having a different woman pretty much every night on the road if he wanted.
When he met his current wife, it was pretty old fashioned. They dated in a pretty benign fashion. He asked her father for her hand. He said he is glad to be out of the loop on the womanizing aspect of baseball.

True! The first time I ever went to a strip club was because of some girls that decided to go. I was 16 so I couldn't go in of course. I got to sit in the car by myself for hours on end. Strip clubs are famous for being in nice parts of town. I eventually had to have my dad pick me up...that strip club is 60 miles from my house!

Bummer for you. Those girls were so rude!!

....but I'll bet your dad was cracking up!!

What happened, was this guy we were friends with turned 18. So a bunch of us went to Boomers (it's this place with mini golf, arcades, go-karts, etc.). The guys (but not girls) were going to go to a strip club afterwards and the girls were going to go back to one girls apartment (we brought 2 cars for that reason) and wait for the guys there where we'd have a party and spend the night (my parents had no problem with their 16 year old son spending the night at a girl's apartment [it was not her parent's either] lol!) but at the last minute they decided they might as well go to leaving my stuck by myself.

I guess that's what I get for being 16 with 18 year old friends. At the time that was really bad (people that age shouldn't have friends that old) but 4 years later I'm still friends with most of them and 20 vs. 22 doesn't seem like as much of a difference.

Plus, now you can go into the stripclub!!

Yep! I've been to one, once.

Last year (2006) my sister's boyfriend, this other guy, and I were in Oakland to see the A's. We went to SF and went to one. I spent $7 (cover charge) but not a cent more. Those two spend a couple hundred bucks each. We each got the same thing in the end (they weren't hookers). After a while the strippers stopped coming over to me since I wasn't tipping (I was sitting near the back though, I didn't want to make it seem like I was going to tip) but who cares. We were there for like 3 hours. After you see a few you've seen 'em all.

My sister's boyfriend got in all kinds of trouble for that night. My sister figures going to a strip club is the same thing as cheating. He isn't supposed to see or think about naked women or do certain things ( )...

No, lol! Things that they generally wouldn't want another person to watch them do...especially a person they didn't know very well. It could involve watching a certain kind of TV.

It's okay, no problem, really I am the one that read this. I mean you are 20, you can do that if you want to, I shouldn't have a problem with it. I don't know you personally so, it is really alright.
