In game 2 Miami beats Wake Forest 4-2
DiNatale goes 2-4 with a stolen base.


He is now batting .321.


Up next for Miami is the ACC Tournament followed by the NCAA Tournament

With 2 straight losses in the ACC Tournament they are done with the tournament. They will likely make the 64 team NCAA Tournament as they are ranked.

DiNatale ends the season hitting .309.

The NCAA Tournament Bracket is announced.

The way this works is there are 64 teams grouped into 16 regionals with 4 teams each. The regionals are double elimination with the winner moving on to the super regionals.

In the super regionals the winner from one regional plays the winner of another regional in a best-of-three series with the winner moving on to the College World Series.

In the College World Series (which now has 8 teams) they play a double elimination tournament until 2 teams are left. When these two teams are left they play in the best-of-three championship series to determine the winner.


For Miami, they are the #2 seed in their regional.

The first games in Miami's regional are as follows:
#1 Florida vs. #4 Bethume-Cookman
#2 Miami vs. #3 Jacksonville

One of those four teams will move on.

Miami wins its first game but then loses to Florida in the second game. Miami wins the next game but is defeated by Florida once gain to get their second loss in the double-elimination tournament.

Florida wins the regional and Miami settles for second place in the regional.

As for DiNatale, including the postseason his senior year sees him hit .311 with 6 home runs and 39 RBI in Miami's 60 game season. He made one error in the outfield.
