That is true. Been true since the early 1970's...

Only muscle meat, no other organs allowed, like eyes, brain, ect.

Before this change, my mom would not let me eat hot dogs or bologna. After the law, only ones that were approved for sale in MI.

I eat deer heart..... I don't think I could eat the rest of that though. And the deer heart we only eat the day of the kill, because it doesn't freeze well.

I am Catholic. I am pro-choice. I believe that it is the woman's choice, not the government's or ANYONE elses.

HOWEVER, I would NEVER have an abortion.

On another note, the Catholic church also teaches that you shouldn't use birth control (or thats what they told us at my old catholic school anyway). I find that COMPLETELY ridiculous....

According to Catholic teaching, ANY birth control is a barrier to the transmission of life, therefore impeding God in forming a life.

As to Christians not following the Kosher Laws" The following is from "Reader's Guide to Meals, Food and Table Fellowship in the New Testament"

2. A lot more people in orphanages
3. A lot more people not knowing who the father is

Agreed!

Just wait until you are married....and then wait until you want kids. I'm sure that works for some people, just not the vast majority.

I'm just saying that people need birth control. Not every person in the world is going to wait until they get married...
