I needed to scoop something out of a bag so I did the other day (I didn't really care how much I got so I could've used anything!) I own some...who doesn't? They're plastic. I don't know what they cost, but if mine were to get stolen I wouldn't need a home equity loan to get more. As for further comments, these aren't all that precise. If you plan on performing high-end chemistry (who the heck does that?) you'd best get some volumetric GLASSware.

<--- does not own one! :'( Which really is bad 'cause i have problems in trying the recipes in this thread. You have strange measures like cups and stuff like that. We don't know that here in Switzerland. Everything is in grams actually. This whole measure-conversion-thing drives me crazy.

- It's a shower head!
- I know how to use it!
- I've showered with it...and that's all
- Yes, I own one!
- One in LA, 2 more at home.
- The one in LA is plastic.
- I forget, it was less than $2 though (clearance at Target!)
- Sure - I had a really crappy one in LA that didn't work right. My dad picked me up a new one at Target (back home). I tried to buy one in LA so I drove 12 miles to Wal-Mart (took 45 minutes to get there) but they were out of shower heads. I then went to Sears and they were out, too. I guess shower heads are a hot commodity this time of year. In the 2.5 hours I spent trying to buy one in LA, I could have gone to all of the following places (what I mean is in 2.5 hours I could go to one, if they didn't have one go to the next, etc. and I'd still be home in less than 2.5 hours)
Target, Wal-Mart, Sears, Orchard Supply Hardware, Home Depot, Hayward Lumber, this plumbing store downtown, this plumbing store in Atascadero, this other plumbing store in Atascadero. The first 3 places are all within 3 miles of my house. The plumbing store downtown and Hayward Lumber are within 1 mile of my house (I live downtown).

Nothing wrong with baths....I don't have a bath tub here in LA so I won't be taking many baths (I don't fit in the sink).

- I know what it is
- I can use one
- I've mixed stuff with them
- My mom owns one (well 2, see below). I don't have on in LA
- We have a hand mixer that we don't use where you crank it by hand. We have an electric mixer but it doesn't have a bowl. We don't have the kind in the picture.
- I have no clue what they cost - not much...they're old.
- I'm out of stuff to say. That one in the picture looks cool. When I get my own place I'll buy that kind.
