2007 SEASON

Pitched the majority of his first season in the Tigers organization with Triple A Toledo.

• Ninth in the International League with a 3.75 ERA.

• Posted a six-game winning streak May 10-June 30, compiling a 2.64 ERA (47.2IP/14ER) over the eight-outing stretch with Toledo.

• Did not allow a home run in nine straight outings (eight starts) May 10-July 5, tossing 54.0 innings during the stretch.

• Finished 14th in the International League with a 3.71 ERA (26.2IP/11ER) in five starts during May.

• Fired his first complete game of the season on June 1 at Buffalo, earning the win after allowing three runs in nine innings of work...went the distance for a second time with the Mud Hens on July 28 versus Richmond, earning the win after allowing just an unearned run in nine innings.

• Recalled by the Tigers from Toledo on June 7 -- made his Tigers debut that evening at Texas, fanning three batters in two innings of relief.

• Optioned back to Toledo by Detroit on June 18.

• Compiled a 4-0 record and 2.67 ERA (27.0IP/8ER) in four outings (three starts) during June for Toledo -- tied for fourth in the International League with four wins during the month, while he finished 10th with a 2.67 ERA.

• Recalled by the Tigers from Toledo on August 12 -- appeared in one game with Detroit before being optioned back to Toledo on August 14.

• Finished 2-1 with a 3.04 ERA (26.2IP/9ER) in four games (three starts) in August.

• Fared better against lefthanded batters in the International League with Toledo, limiting them to a .248 batting average (60x242)...righties hit .277 (74x267) with Bazardo on the mound.

• Recalled by the Tigers from Toledo on September 1.

• Earned his first major league win on September 10 versus Toronto after tossing a scoreless inning of relief.

• Established a career high with three innings of relief in the day game of a day-night doubleheader on September 11 versus Texas.

• Made his first major league start on September 15 at Minnesota -- did not figure in the decision after allowing two runs in 4.2 innings of work.

• Established a career high with seven innings and five strikeouts as he picked up the win in his start on September 25 versus Minnesota.

• Limited righthanded batters to a .143 batting average (6x42) at the major league level...lefties hit .289 (13x45) with Bazardo on the mound.

• Compiled a 2-0 record and 0.56 ERA (16.0IP/1ER) in seven appearances (one start) at Comerica Park...posted a 0-1 record and 5.87 ERA (7.2IP/5ER) in four outings (one start) on the road.

• Named the fifth-best prospect and rated as possessing the best changeup in the Tigers organization following the season by Baseball America.


MAJOR LEAGUE CAREER

Received his first major league action after being recalled from Double A Carolina by the Florida Marlins on May 26, 2005.

• Made his major league debut on May 26, working in relief against the New York Mets -- optioned back to Carolina by the Marlins immediately following the game.

MINOR LEAGUE HIGHLIGHTS

Posted a 3.64 ERA for Double A San Antonio in the Seattle Mariners organization in 2006, fourth-best in the Texas League.

• Fanned a season-high seven batters on April 28 versus Arkansas...equaled the high with seven strikeouts on September 1 versus Corpus Christi.

• Sidelined May 23-June 4 with a right elbow strain.

• Compiled a 1-1 record and 2.25 ERA (20.0IP/5ER) in five starts during June.

Saw action with both Carolina and San Antonio after being acquired by the Mariners from the Marlins in a three-player deal on July 31, 2005.

• Posted two three-game winning streaks with Carolina, doing so April 11-23 and July 7-25.

• Assigned to San Antonio after being acquired by the Mariners -- won his first three decisions over a four-start stretch August 5-21.

• Fanned a season-best eight batters on August 27 against Frisco.

• Named the 13th-best prospect in the Mariners organization following the season by Baseball America.

Eighth in the Florida State League with a 3.27 ERA for Single A Jupiter during the 2004 season.

• Second in the league with 161 hits allowed, tied for second with two shutouts, fourth with 154.1 innings pitched and tied for fifth with 25 games started and two complete games.

• Fired a two-hit shutout on May 4 at Clearwater.

• Tabbed the Florida State League Pitcher of the Week for May 24-30 after winning both of his starts and posting a 1.15 ERA (15.2IP/2ER).

• Finished 1-1 with a 2.35 ERA (30.2IP/8ER) in five starts during June.

• Tossed a one-hit shutout on July 24 versus St. Lucie.

• Named the third-best prospect in the Marlins organization following the season by Baseball America.

Second in the South Atlantic League with four complete games for Single A Greensboro in 2003...tied for the league lead with two shutouts.

• Did not allow a run in either of his first two starts April 30-May 5, tossing 13.0 innings...won each of his first three starts April 30-May 10, posting a 0.93 ERA (19.1IP/2ER).

• Went the distance to earn the win on June 19 in the second game of a doubleheader at Kannapolis.

• Tossed complete games in each of his final three starts of the season, doing so on August 17 at Hagerstown, August 27 versus Lakewood and September 1 versus Hagerstown -- did not allow a run in his final two starts, tossing a combined 17.0-scoreless innings.

• Posted a 2-1 record and 2.56 ERA (31.2IP/9ER) in four starts during August.

• Named the fifth-best prospect in the Marlins organization following the season by Baseball America.

Worked solely in relief for Single A Jamestown during the 2002 season, finishing fifth in the New York-Penn League with 21 games finished.

• Combined to post a 3-0 record, 1.19 ERA (22.2IP/3ER) and four saves in 17 outings during July and August.

• Named the 23rd-best prospect in the Marlins organization following the season by Baseball America.

Made his professional debut with the Venezuelan Summer League Marlins in 2001.

Signed by the Marlins as a non-drafted free agent on July 19, 2000.

Resides in Maracay, VZ during the off-season...has one child, Saiduai (7/29/03).

• Posted a 1-1 record and 3.23 ERA in 22 appearances with Aragua in the Venezuelan Winter League following the 2004 season.

• Appeared in 21 games with Aragua in the Venezuelan Winter League following the 2006 season, posting a 2-0 record, 1.78 ERA (30.1IP/6ER) and one save.
