| I was just noticing something...you never see too many Tigs out with colds, flu, sore throat, etc. etc. Am I missing something? Do they get nutritional supplements, Zicam, or whatever so they won't come down with these bugaboos? Just think--
exposure to hundreds of people everyday
grueling travel schedules
night games then day games

| Most players play through them. I remember Polanco was out for a few weeks with the flu though. Some players miss more games than others. If it's just a cold or sore throat, they'll just play though it. | |

| very true, I remember last season the Tigers had the flu hit just about all the team. Some were able to play through it, but each day we did not know who was going to be out of the game. | |

| Last season during one of the Cleveland road trips, Justin Verlander had the flu. He actually arrived in Cleveland for the second game. They didn't want him to travel with the team! | |
