You have to go to the picture galleries like:
http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/gallery?Site=C4&Date=20080219&Category=SPORTS02&ArtNo=802190805&Ref=PH&Profile=1050

and then right click picture and either
(1) choose the "copy image location" and use insert image icon on this site or
(2) to save a copy for yourself, right click picture and choose "save image as" and give the image a name to save (if from FPress)

I either direct connect it with the first method or I save it, upload it to flickr or serving and link it from there. The second method insures that the picture won't disapear if they change image location at a newspaper.

That "Ramon Santiago , right, gets a playfull welcoming hug from coach Andy Van Slyke" picture sure looks like pudge, but the paper says otherwise.
