Umpire Brian O'Nara sucks!

For those that didn't see it - Matt Cain hit David Wright in the head with a pitch today. Wright left the game and is hospitalized overnight. It was clearly unintentional as it was on an 0-2 pitch early in a 0-0 ballgame and there was a runner on 1st with 0 outs. Later in the game Johan Santana throws at Pablo Sandoval but it ends up behind him. O'Nara warns both benches. Sandoval hits a home run. Santana hits Bengie Molina who was the very next batter but does not get thrown out

After the game Santana admits he deliberately was throwing at Sandoval and Molina. He should be suspended and O'Nara is an idiot. If you warn a guy you throw him out when he hits the very next batter!

He does suck; but he does often wear the light blue shirt when he works home plate; unlike Doug Eddings who wore black despite 94 degree heat last Sunday at Comerica; And the umpires the last two nights at Comerica wore black shirts despite temps in the mid 80's at game time


I hate when the umpires wear black shirts; especially in hot weather

He wore blue today. He's still an idiot though. So is Johan Santana.
