RIP Tigersaint

This is no joke. There's a thread "over there" dedicated to him and a reliable poster has indicated that he has passed on.

To one of the best Tiger posters.

I have talked to Scott on the phone before and after he had to have surgery to amputate his legs because of diabetes and he has been on kidney dialysis a long time, but I am totally shocked about this turn of events! Things had gone downhill fast after his mom died (they lived together). OMG is all I can feel right now. I will try calling his apt. and see if I can get any family member who can fill us in on what happened.

I pray you are Resting in Peace, in the Lord's arms, Scott (TigerSaint). No more pain, no more dialysis, you can run, see and sing again. I am sure you are helping lead the Angelic choir in some Shakapela and other harmony!

You said it; I am just so upset right now; Even though; I never met him; you felt like you knew him[ I feel the same way about a lot of people on these boards] And the ones I have been lucky enough to meet; Like Catbox; [ I talk with him for 20 minutes; felt like I have known the guy for years] it is amazing how well I get along with when I meet them

At least he is with his mom now

I was so fortunate to have met him in person and had dinner with him at Spring Training last year.
Unbelievable...but just think not only his mom he's with now but all Tigers that have passed on

I read that poem and teared up...

He always encouraged me to sing my heart out and learn how to read music. And I will never forget how much he joked with me about Chad.

You will be missed Scott..to say the very least.

OMG.....I came here after reading about it "over there"! It can't be!!!

Scott was the kindest man I know. We have lost one of the best friends we could ever have.

The wife and I have been planning on taking the kids to Cedar Point tonight, so when I go...I'm going to stop in at the Red Garter Saloon and have a beer in his honor. That may not sound like much...but for those of you that didn't know....Scott worked there many years ago. He was one of the performers (back in the mid/early 80's if I remember correctly).

Rest in Peace my dear friend...Rest in Peace.

I was checking out the list of members on this site; including Tigersaint listed; with e-mail and private message options below his name; my eyes got teary


And I didn't know him as well as some people did here and on the other board


I have done a lot of crying this month; sad but true

Oh wow, This is so sad I can't believe it....

I hope he rests happily and peacefully forever.

I posted some more videos of Scott's music in the music thread. Boy what a great voice!

I asked him to sing with me and he said one day we would....guess I'll have to wait a little longer.
