I'm not very familiar with his music. I had a teacher in high school that played it a lot. I think my dad listens to it. I don't.

Are you sure it was a cricket and not a spider? I'm not a somethingorotherologist (I forget what bug studiers are called) but I don't think crickets have teeth capable of biting humans.
