Cobras rarely attack humans. I'm much more afraid of these which live in places as near to me as Arizona. I've never seen one but if I woke up with one on my pillow I'll admit I'd be scared...

I don't think that was it either. Although I think if I saw one of those I would end up making my entire neighbor hood thinking someone was getting murdered because of how loud I would scream.

Are you sure it was a cricket and not a spider? I'm not a somethingorotherologist (I forget what bug studiers are called) but I don't think crickets have teeth capable of biting humans.

Crickets can bite, but nothing you could feel. The only reason I know is because my son has a bearded dragon, an anole and a gecko. We feed them live crickets. We handle the crickets all the time. We've never got bit.
