But Seriously, they have to use K-Rod just about every time they face a good team or cant score many runs at all. which is almost always. And they are always only up by three runs. And quite often, he gets like 1 or 2 outs to get the save. Why cant he be like Rivera and get some 5 out saves?
Bottom line: Once K-Rod gets like a 2 inning, 1 run save, against a good team, I will like him.

Jones has no options, Miner does hence his being sent down.

Speaking of Francisco Rodriguez, he's having only a mediocre year numbers-wise for him.

His WHIP this season is higher than his career average, and his ERA isn't much lower.

Even more disgusting is he has 46.3 IP and 43 saves - that's almost a 1:1 ratio. And to think, there's morons out there that want to give him (or any reliever) a Cy Young. Please

I mean for a "closer" (whatever the good they are) he's great, but for a pitcher? I'll take a mediocre starter over him because he could start or close and blow almost no saves as well. There isn't much to getting saves, just look at Joe Borowski or other AL Central closers *cough* *cough*

Miner explained he was sent down to learn how to become a starter. He was very happy to be able to work on his flaws and to come back up a very good starting pitcher!

And I happy to see Miner kick some butt out there
