I've never heard (in this day and age) that a team is worried because payroll is $250,000 too high.

That's why that didn't really make a whole heck of a lot of sense.

He makes minimum wage for crying out loud, cut the guy some slack.

He has disappeared from Facebook, I'm still a little worried, but I am trying to relax.

He IS arbitration eligible though. That means he's under the Tigers control but he can ask for more money. If he wants to make $500,000 or less he'll stay. If he wants more than that (that's already a $100,000 raise) he probably won't.
