2+ hours isn't that far though. Get season tickets or at least go more often

And this is coming from someone that had tickets when the Tigers were in Anaheim and stayed home.

Yeah, but...umm....that's different. The ML players don't care about the fans. Go see a A player, they really do care. Minor league baseball is a more pure version of baseball. I've only been to one minor league game in my life (Sacramento, Oakland's AAA team) but it was pretty cool.

In the 12 years I lived in Sacramento, I'm not sure they even had an AA team. I was so busy struggling to make ends meet that all I could manage was watching the As and Cubs on the weekends.

I need to check it out.

The River Cats are reasonably new to Sacramento - they started in 2000. Since 2000 the River Cats have had the highest attendance in all the minor leagues in every season. They draw in excess of 10,000 fans a game.

Yep, that was after I moved to Sonora (1997). Wow, how cool for them. Sacramento is really a neat city. If I was a doctor or lawyer, it would be worth staying!

My dad's family all lives in Sacramento so I go there every now and then. It's not a bad place although the weather really sucks.

The fog was always really bad in the winter, and in the summer, we would have at least 1 week long of 105+ degrees. I just appreciated the fairly mild weather year-round.

It doesn't cool off there at night either :puke2:

I mean, sure, it's hot where I live in the summer but it cools off into the 50s every night. It's not quite as hot as Sacramento, either. Instead of 100+ every day it's "only" like 90-95+

definitely remember that too! At least it was too dry for mosquitoes. We got the Delta breeze most of the time, but places like Paradise, Chico, and Redding never cooled off because of no breeze....
