All I ever wanted to be when I grew up was a wife and mother and that's what I did. I got married when I was 19, had my first child at 20 and my 2nd at 21. It's what I wanted out of life. It's not for everyone and I understand that, but what I don't get is people thinking that it's because I had problems growing up or whatever. Mostly feminists can't figure out my decision and like to tell me what a huge mistake I made.

Glad that's all cleared up. You seemed to be thinking as you did it. Too many people think "what the fuck, I'm old enough and have been dating this person for a few days now...why not get married?"

Oh, and I wasn't implying your husband was vastly older than you either - 6 years is roughly half the age difference in my parents (12 years apart). Also, they were married for only 9 years despite being married at very old ages (31 and 43).

Well, I am very lucky and I tell my friends that all the time when they call me crying about their problems. My only regret is not going to college, but meh, if I really want to in a few years, I can.

And no, he's not that much older. We never even think about it really. It's odd to think that we have been together for about 12 1/2 years. It seems like we only met yesterday sometimes, while other times it feels like forever But I think I'm really lucky
