DET: RHP Jeremy Bonderman (1-1, 4.58 ERA)
A few bad pitches and poor defense behind him led to a mediocre outing for Bonderman on Monday. Arguably Detroit's best starter thus far, Bonderman allowed seven runs -- four earned -- on eight hits in 6 1/3 innings. His defense made three errors. He is 2-1 with a 3.00 ERA against the Blue Jays in his career. At Rogers Centre, he is 1-1 with a 3.00 ERA in four starts.

TOR: RHP Dustin McGowan (0-1, 3.71 ERA)
McGowan picked up a tough loss against the Orioles on Monday, surrendering three runs on 10 hits over six innings. It was the second quality start of the season for the right-hander, but McGowan has only received eight runs of support through three starts. In the defeat, McGowan struck out five and walked one, giving him 16 strikeouts vs. seven walks over 17 innings this season. In his career against the Tigers, McGowan is 1-2 with a 9.95 ERA in three starts.
