it all ebbs and flows throughout the season. Things can change at any time. Although I will say they have tasted the playoffs and they want back in!

True. Look at what the Rockies did last year.

Things to consider:
They had the best record in the NL last year
They are the YOUNGEST team in baseball
They are about to win their 8th straight

The Tigers on the other hand... Crying or Very sad

I talked with a 70 year old man today, who is a lifelong baseball fan, and he is NOT a Detroit Tiger fan, but when he heard that my fav. team is the Tigers, he was so excited about our whole team and mostly the Manager!

He said he has seen this happen to all the great teams, when they make this many changes. He feels the Tigers will be a team to be reckoned with THIS YEAR! He said give them at least 20 games to gell then make your minds up as to their future success!

He also said there is not a manager out there that can work with this group of personalities like Leland. He had season tickets for years with Pittsburgh, when Leland was there, and got to know Leland. He said he knows it is frustating now, but with the knowledge Leland, and his coaching staff has, and the guys he has to work with, Detroit is the best team out there!

He said we have just seen some flashes of the future, but with the injuries, newness of players, and outside pressure, what else could we expect! Just wait and watch, he said!
