The Godfather Part III (1990)

I suppose I should watch this pretty soon. No sense thinking about baseball any more today.

And that completes the trilogy. This movie, like the last two was long. This movie was made some 16 years after the completion of the second part and it shows. There are tons of new characters and the remaining characters are much older.

Despite the newness to this film, which is not a a good thing, this film is unwatchable if you haven't seen the other two. Pretty much everything that happens correlates to the first two films.

This wasn't bad, but I don't think it was all that necessary. The acting was decent, the plot was decent but took forever. Like the first two movies this has a ton of stuff happening and you have to pay very close attention to understand what's happening.

The ending of this saves the film and leaves open almost no possibility for another sequel.
