| If I was a MLBer I'd come up with something new and different for my song. Here's my short list:
- "In the Mood" - Glenn Miller Orchestra https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bR3K5uB-wMA
- "The Entertainer" - Scott Joplin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cFkae0j_Ns&mode=related&search=
- "The Mexican Hat Dance" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mru5qKHEss
- "Theme From a Summer Place" - Percy Faith https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7y6X2RF607M
- "Für Elise" - Beethoven https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQTTFUtMSvQ
Then again maybe lyrics are better:
- "Oh, Pretty Woman" - Roy Orbison https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yguERAkjaic
- "You're So Vain" - Carly Simon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gUF9G4N-tE
- "My Heart Will Go On " - Celine Dion :puke:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uO_vFuzPJvc
- "American Pie" - Don McLean (NOT Madonna ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obiXDx6XU-c
- "Crying" - Roy Orbison https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzezIg2Ei0A&mode=related&search=
- "Happy Xmas (War is Over)" - John Lennon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8jw-ifqwkM
- "Laughing" - The Guess Who https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M56U_-JlrOQ
- "White Rabbit" - Jefferson Airplane https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LdwGUXoXyA (I love this song!)
If I was a relief pitcher, these might be fun:
- "It's Too Late" - Carole King https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wp_jrZIJrS4
- "You Can't Always Get What You Want" - Rolling Stones https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdyomQLHrrk
- "Touch Me" - The Doors https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PECk9A-07Pw
- "Eve of Destruction" - Barry McGuire https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Akoukq5DvAE (What a cool song this is!)
Hey Lo, don't read this: - Spoiler:
This would be a good one for Brandon Inge:
- "One of these Nights" - The Eagles https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atcKXMy831g
The other team would be so busy laughing their asses off they'd forget to pay attention and I'd kick ass! On another note, If I was Randy Wolf of the Dodgers, I would change my song from the Rolling Stones' "Paint it Black" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kl3GeOPKsg to something that made a little more sense (seeing as my last name would be WOLF) - Spoiler:
What's wrong with The Guess Who's "Clap for the Wolfman" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSzJNTWAHAM
Man I'm clever!! Too bad the video makes no sense for that song. Song works fine though!
What about rainy delays? Surely we need music there: "Rain Day Woman #12 & 35" - Bob Dylan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CU6DpvdgiM8 (In case you're wondering, 12*35 = 420). Song has nothing to do with the rain, but any song where the main line is "Everybody must get stoned" is pretty cool if you ask me! One final note, while we're discussing Bob Dylan, Rolling Stone Magazine called this the greatest song of all-time: "Like A Rolling Stone" - Bob Dylan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuVgW3Ykqn4&mode=related&search= ---------------------- DAMN! That was a long post! There's some good music in there (save a couple songs!)

| I just listened to the new Foo Fighters album "Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace). There are a some titles that would fit in certain situations.
"Cheer up boys, your makeup is running" Todd Jones enters the game in a non-closing situation and .... well, i guess you know the rest...
"Erase Replace" Bondo pitched one of his dreadful first innings. Great song for a pitching change!
"But Honestly" BBonds about his "power".
There are others that would fit too like - Long road to ruin - Come alive - Stranger things have happend. | |

| If Brandon ever gets out of his slump, he could use "Out of the Rut" by the Ducky Boys. I seriously doubt anyone has ever heard that song and knows what I'm talking about though LOL | |

| More music! Here's something to play when either the closer comes in or when a position player has to pitch because everyone else has been awful:
"End of the Line" - Traveling Wilburys (Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, and some losers) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewWyW6lT1HE
Here's some music for those super late games: If a game makes it to 3 AM why not play Matchbox 20's "3 AM" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKWLVrAeBkA
At the stroke of midnight, this should be played: "After Midnight" - Eric Clapton https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mSMETRoOs0
While we're discussing Clapton, how about "Cocaine" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBzY7F2lMNo
If you like songs that has the word Cocaine in it, how about The Grateful Jones' "Casey Jones" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUXjuFFt7NU
----------------------------- More rain delay music:
"Who'll Stop The Rain" - Credence Clearwater Revival https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9xFywOSskU
"Have You Ever Seen the Rain" - CCR https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TS9_ipu9GKw ------------------------------ Here's another one. If the manager comes out for a mound visit, play this: "Let it Be" - The Beatles https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgGjI7sHM6k | |

Not a clue. I always says it's from the 1960's or so that way I can make fun of my parent's age: "You guys didn't even have radio growing up!!" | |
