That other system sucked, too. Some members would automatically approve and others wouldn't. For the members that didn't approve we had no idea that they even applied. One day I was playing around the admins tool and there were like 8 members waiting approval some of whom had waited like a week! That won't work either....

| I might need to get a new signature one of these days. I mean, I've had my "coming soon a new signature" signature a while now. But what to put there? Ty Cobb? Justin Verlander? Multiple players? | |

It won't be multiple pitchers. Multiple players is probably my best choice...
- Ty Cobb (duh!)
- Charlie Gehringer
- Hal Newhouser (hey, there's a pitcher!)
- Al Kaline
- Alan Trammell
- Justin Verlander??
I'd need to come up with some sort of text for all of 'em. Something create like how they're all Tigers legends and then put something suggesting Verlander could be next.

What about everyone else? Speaking of those players, I have an 8X10 autograph of all of them haning on my wall except the first and last one. I'd trade the rest for those two (mostly because the Cobb one alone is worth about 10 times the rest combined....and that's if I get a good deal!) As for Verlander, I hate new players! Why is it his autograph costs MORE than Kaline, Newhouser (RIP), and Gehringer (RIP) COMBINED!? Sorry Justin, but 3 HOFers put together are better than you, a second-year player!

It's the new players mostly. I paid (ALL autographs are PSA/DNA certified): Kaline 8X10: $25 Kell: $25 Newhouser (my first dead guy): $35 Gehringer (also dead): $50 Trammell: $20 Bunning: $30 He's a US Senator! Lolich: $20 (he inscribed it 68 WS MVP) Harwell: $5 plus postage (I mailed a photo to him...CA to MI and back in 6 days (including a holiday weekend! Damn is he fast). Anyways, Verlander is $100+ for an 8X10 on eBay and they aren't even PSA/DNA certified. Look at what you can get for $100^ Damn you Justin! It takes 3 seconds to sign an autograph. At that rate ($100/3 seconds) he'd make $120,00/hr. Put in 40 hours a week 52 weeks a year and he'd make 2,496,00,000 a year!!! Of course signing that many autographs would drive the price way down....not that I'd care! I'd gladly pay $25 for his autograph but I refuse to pay MORE for his than for Al Kalines. Hell, if Verlander DID sign all those and it was worth $1 I'd still pay $25. When I buy autographs I ignore what they're worth. I just pay what I'm comfortable paying. Like I said elsewhere, I'd pay $300+ for Bobby Layne even though it's worth $150. I just can't find the thing ANYWHERE

| Cards. I have one dual signed by Verlander and Fidrych. Another one signed by Verlander that I won on eBay the night of his no-hitter (ahh....good times). Another one is a refractor that I had signed through eTopps.
I have AUTOs of many, many TIGER players .
I have a signed Official Baseball by Zumaya and another by Bob Feller!!

Sure, not many McDonalds employees can buy Cobb autographs (unless they still live in their parent's basement) but they can get other ones. I barely have any autographs. The only 2 balls I have is everyone's good buddy Denny McLain and the ever-so-popular Fernando Rodney (he signed in person for me at the last game I was at). I try to get stuff through the mail but baseball players suck! I've had great luck with NFL HOFers though - every living HOFer who once played for the Lions has given me an autgraph. I also have Geroge Blanda's autograph since he's the NFL's Gordie Howe I figured why not...

It depends. I bought his autograph on eBay once (8X10). I then decided to send it to PSA/DNA for the hell of it. $5X later (I forget the exact amount) they told me it was fake. I took down every non-PSA/DNA certified autogrpah hanging on my wall (Lou Creekmur [HOF linemen of the Lions], Greg Landry [Last Lion QB to make Pro Bowl], and Billy Simms). I decided the only autographs I'll ever get from now on will be cards that were supposed to be signed, stuff I get through the mail (TTM), or PSA/DNA certified stuff (JSA is okay, too). Sanders seems to have his own company he used to authenticate stuff (name escapes me) as does Yzerman (Stevie Y Authentic...SYA) so I don't have their REAL autographs at the moment.

I have HIS autoigraoh!! I don't have his... My mom said he's a real jerk. She used to work at a golf course back in MI where he and some guy who was less famous used to go golfing all the time. He thought he was a real big shot and was really rude and everything...... ....he was also a big tipper so that made up for everything else.
