Despite a 1-1 record in his past three starts, Sanchez has been much better with the Tigers, allowing two earned runs in 19 2/3 innings for a 0.92 ERA. He last faced the Angels in 2011, yielding one run in seven innings with the Marlins.



Angels: RHP Zack Greinke (4-2, 4.36 ERA)

Greinke enters his outing against the Tigers on a three-game winning streak, a span in which he has had a 1.66 ERA while striking out 16 batters and walking six. That success came off a four-start stretch during which he had a 7.20 ERA.
