Though the Tigers held out hope that Doug Fister could return from the disabled list to make this start, they're now keeping Porcello in order and starting him on four days' rest. He gave up four runs in five innings at Cincinnati in his last start.



Cubs: RHP Matt Garza (2-4, 3.99 ERA)

Garza is winless in his past six starts despite posting his second consecutive quality start in his last outing against the Brewers. He gave up two runs on three hits over six innings and struck out six.
