The Tigers like Crosby as a high-strikeout southpaw, but when his command deserted him in his debut, he paid dearly with a Curtis Granderson grand slam. He gave up six runs on four hits with four walks over 3 1/3 innings last Friday against New York.



Indians: RHP Derek Lowe (7-3, 3.06 ERA)

Lowe put Saturday's bad outing against Chicago behind him when he allowed only one run in 6 2/3 innings Friday against the Twins. Lowe struck out two and walked only one in the game.
