Tigers: LHP Drew Smyly (2-1, 3.46 ERA)

Smyly has given up four runs in each of his last four outings, putting a slight damper on his rookie campaign after a solid opening month. Most of the damage has come on two-run homers, six of them over his last four starts to triple his homer total.



Indians: RHP Ubaldo Jimenez (5-4, 5.79 ERA)

Jimenez continued his inconsistent season last Sunday against the White Sox as he allowed seven runs on seven hits in only four innings of work. He walked four and struck out three in the losing effort.
