James Dean

Driving home from LA yesterday I got to thinking about James Dean. I've never seen one of his movies and don't know much about him.

He was in Rebel Without a Cause and some other stuff. He wore a jacket in one of his movies that was fairly significant. I think someone borrowed the jacket in the movie and died and Dean's dad got all upset. The only reason I know whtat is because of "American Pie" (the song).

Anways, one day James Dean was driving somewhere and was in a car accident and died. A memorial is set up and the splitting of highway 46 and 41 is known as the "James Dean Memorial Interchange". That spot is in Cholame, CA which is a town of around 300. 25 miles from there is the next actual city - Paso Robles, CA where I happen to live.
