| Hmm.... Obviously Jerry Hairston, Sr. In addition there is former Washington Senator Dave Harris who, like Hairston, broke up a Tigers' perfect game (Tommy Bridges) with one out to go. As for people that don't ruin perfect games... Babe Ruth Ichiro Jeter Alex Rodriguez Manny Ramirez Jeff Kent Vladimir Guerrero Jason Giambi I know there's more HOFers but I can't think of who. EDIT: Pete Rose, Joe Jackson, and everyone else on baseball's ineligible list. | |

| Gary Sheffield is high on my list. Then there's Barry Bonds, A-Rod, Sammy So-so, Mark McGwire, Rafael Palmeiro, Jose Canseco, Roger Clemens, Pete Rose, Joe Jackson, Brandon Inge and probably a few others. | |

Brandon Inge?
Why? Because he can't hit a lick and I don't like his attitude. Speaking of attitudes, put Manny Ramirez on my dislikes list.

But what is wrong with Babe Ruth?
He never did steroids and visited plenty of sick kids in hospitals and such I just don't like Ruth. He didn't do anything wrong but he's like Gretzky. Cobb was the greatest player ever in everyone's opinion before Ruth. Now less people call Cobb the greatest player ever. DO NOT FORGET: In the first-ever HOF election Ty Cobb got more votes than Babe Ruth. RANT: What really pisses me off is when people go "Can (player) be a unanimous electee?" The other guy replies "No, not even Babe Ruth was unanimous" Excuse me, not only was Ruth not unanimous, but he didn't even get the most votes in his class

Cobb was the greatest hitter of all time
Yet people try to discredit him Even if you don't like his personal views it's not like they were different from the average American back then. Yeah, if he was like that today you'd think he was pretty racist but back then that was the norm. Furthermore, he put tons of money into Georgia healthcare and scholarships - both were (and still are) open to blacks.
