Unfortunately the stuff doesn't make you less lazy. I quit taking it after a couple months.

Anyone that knows me knows I clearly do not have ADD. I'm too calm as it is. I told the shrink that I thought I needed some and she asked me if I had problems when I was a little kid being hyper...I said no. She asked if I was hyper now, I said no. She asked if I had trouble in school growing up...I said no. She asked if I did now, I said no although I'd like to do better. She asked if had trouble concentrating when I study, I said only if I'm trying to play videogames or watch TV or do something else at the same time.

She said I clearly had ADHD and drugs would help. I find it funny though because if you look at the DSM-IV-TR (Diagnotic and Statistical Manual Version 4 Text Revision) I don't even come close to meeting the criteria - especially the one in bold letters stating symptoms must have originally appeared by age 6.

She concluded I wasn't suicidal or depressed or bipoloar or schizophrenic or something else so I either had no psychological problems or ADHD. If I didn't have problems why would I be seeing her? That's why I got the drugs.

And think, she doesn't have to do anything or follow the DSM-IV-TR and she gets paid $30,000 or so a month. The only real problem I have she didn't even address - I don't like needles being stuck in me. Look at the criteria for a phobia and you need like 2-3 things from a list. I meet every single thing on the list. Every time I get a shot I throw up and pass out afterwards....It's kind of funny actually!
