That's weird. And you know it said no posts exist. :haha: You changed it! |

It's actually called Jeffery Dahmer University named after former student Jeffery Dahmer who gained fame for being a serial killer. Damher U. has famous alumni such as serial killers whereas famous alumni from U. of M include a former President of the United States (who amongst other things was not a serial killer).

Why don't you try getting a job in MLB? You could be an intern for the Dodgers, Padres or Angels. Or you could work at Disneyland; Knotts Berry Farm? Sell Real Estate? Drive a Limo! Be a Lifeguard

| I live 200 miles form the nearest stadium....unless they pay $100+/hr I'm not commuting 3 hours each way. Disneyland/Knotts Berry farm are 275 miles away - I want $125/hr to work there. I don't have a real estate license or chauffeur's license or a lifeguard license (plus it's almost winter!) Hey, that reminds me - I need to update my profile! I don't live in LA anymore | |

| I applied at Target for some position requiring a degree but they didn't ask where I wanted to work. I'm not relocating anywhere!
First post updated with a pseudo-résumé, and info on what I've applied for and the status on each.

| Sign up with those and you can usually go to work the day after they assess you. You take a little cut in pay but it's a great way to check out a company before you would actually work for them. | |

| any time, CB!! I've been there a few times so am always glad to offer ideas! Just don't rely on newspaper ads. That has to be the most unrealistic picture of employment. Another idea is monster.com for a great online job search. | |

| Ryan, Try Victor. That's where I went when I was going to quit Carl's and they had a lot of work. My Grandma also went through them and got an office job making pretty decent money. Or you could always go back to flippin burgers and than I can move back to Paso, get my old job back and it would be just like the good old days. Only this time I won't have to leave you in the car when we all go to that one place. | |

my ideas didn't work But there were lots of ideas! Keep them coming. We'll find something....
...too bad I didn't live in a big city. You won't make much begging for money in this town You could join the circus Or go to Hollywood and become a TV or Movie Star or even a Adult Film Star Join the French Foreign Legion. Or hit the gym and bulk up; You could be a pro wrestler. Join the Navy? Or Marines? Be a Cab Driver? Work at the San Diego Zoo; Work for the Cable Company Or Phone Company

| LOL! Tons of ideas!
Let's shoot them all down... Circus isn't in town. Hollywood is too close to LA. French Legion won't work around here. Wrestling will require too much effort. I don't want a 4 year commitment to anything so no Navy/Marines. Very few taxis in this area - town is too small. San Diego zoo is too far away. Cable or phone company. Hmm....that sounds reasonable!
