You need 518 more posts. You average 5.81 per day. Keep that up and you'll get there in 89 more days....in other words around 12/5. You'll hit Detroit 774 days later...in other words mid-January, 2011. How long is it going to take me to become a tiger?
- Spoiler:
That is, if Garrett doesn't kill me first
From you latest rate, about a month to 6 weeks!

Kids nowadays :haha: Try being almost 30 when the internet becomes popular and you see an actual color picture on the screen and not just a black screen with orange letters (which was also amazing at one time!) And having a phone that you actually carry in your purse...still feels like I'm really living like the Jetsons sometimes!! (BTW, The Jetsons was a futuristic cartoon for you youngins', lol) And video games because you didn't have a computer???? I was 13 when Atari came out and when we got it we thought it was the most awesome thing ever! When I was a kid, there were 3 TV channels, and no such thing as video games, you took your outside all day with your friends and made up to do

| Although, when I went to my Dad/Grandma's work (my Mom's mother worked in the same office my Dad does) at a younger age, I can remember playing with the typewriter there. |

| I was in my SR year of high school when I saw my first sony beta vcr. I did not own one until 1985. (they cost too much.) First computer used was in JR. college in 83, it was a Trash 80 (a Radio Shack TRS80) It used 8" floppys (no hard drive). My first computer I owned and programmed was a Texas Instruments TI99-4A. You used a cassette recorder to save programs, and hooked it up to your tv. It also had cartridges like the old Atari for purchased programs. The TI and Commodor 64 were the 1st mass produced, low cost computers. click here for Commodor 64. First really useful computer was the Apple II, but I could not afford it. So I bought the first clone -- A Franklin Ace (they were sued for coping the operating system). IBM PC computers were available by this time, but were too costly, and not popular except for businesses (no windows yet). The way this computer was made brought on the PC clone. That is when I first went IBM compatible. This was around 1988. Since then I have had at least 10 computers and 4 laptops! | |
