| I'm too lazy to copy and paste the article, but basically after further review the official scorer's call stands and it's a one-hitter and not a no-hitter.
Nice job, MLB. That was a hit all the way and I'm glad they realized they got it right even though admitting they were wrong would have meant a no-hitter.

It shoulda been a no hitter. I like CC! You can't just give guys no-hitters for the hell of it though. I mean I like Lincecum but I'm not going to protest every hit he gave up so every start can be a no-hitter.

| Exactly. If they overturned this one, then I'd have to protest JJ's two hitter because Jacobs obviously made an error and the official scorer said it was a hit. Was that JJ or Ricky? I suck | |

| But still, a no hitter is so rare, and in my eyes, it was clearly an error. | |

| Here's why I say it's a hit...
Imagine he makes the play like he "should have". Would you say "nice play"? Since you would, it's a hit. If a guy hits a routine popup and the center fielder catches it do you say "nice play"? Of course not - therefore if he drops it, it's an error.

| LOL...no, you can still form your own opinions :haha: Nobody is always right....just yesterday SoulRat of all people was right when I was wrong I mean who would have guessed that a 30-year-old mother of 2 daughters could give better parenting advice to a teenage girl than me, a 21-year-old male with no children? | |

| I demand a recount! TG cheated. She presented the facts incorrectly. I interpreted what she presented correctly and SoulRat interpreted what was presented incorrectly. When TG then altered the facts significantly, my original (and correct) interpretation became wrong. That's how SoulRat was right. | |

| Well if I would have known he was a Lions/Red Wings fan and his brother went to UM to start with I would have thought differently. I mean clearly he's a good guy if that is all true and he clearly comes from a good family - unlike Ohio State, who boasts alumni such as Jeffery Dahmer, Michigan only takes good people to be students. | |
