Hope he's okay....

Polanco's at bat was a microcosm of the hitting problems.

He is one of our best hitters and the 1st pitch he was going for a home run and the rest of the pitches he swung TERRIBLY. He even got 4 strikes. What happened to the ever-reliable Polanco with RISP? Man...he had the go ahead run 90 ft away and he wasted the at bat! I love the guy, but all the pitching in the world can't win with hitting like that.

It's going okay. I had lessons today. I enjoy it. I have to stop taking lessons this winter, because of conditioning for rowing. And I practice quite a bit.

Cool. Me, too. I played in a band long ago, but still played several times a week. I am teaching my 7 year old how to play, too. Slowly. This weekend I just got asked to play bass in a friend's band. I haven't been in a band in quite awhile, so I have some serious practicing to do! I love it though. I've been playing since I was 13 or 14.

Too bad Matt's hit didn't have just a little more lift!

I just missed Matt's entire at bat because my sister needed to borrow stuff Frown
