Rockies WS ticket prices are more balanced than ours:

The Rockies are selling WS tickets ranging from 60-250 dollars These prices are set by MLB; However, the majority of their tickets range range from 60 [for rockpile ]to 175 for most seats; Only infield and outfield box seats are in the 200-250 range: By comparision, The Tigers had skyline at 90, Bleachers at 175 and Mezzainne and upper Reserved at 190: With everything else between 225-250 dollars: Including Pavillion and Kaline Corner going for 225: It would be nice to see the Pizza King[ Ilitch] adjust prices more fairly and balanced but I doubt it

That's the funniest part! I remember watching a Dodgers game and their in-studio show was talking about the NL West contenders and how close the race was (this was mid-August). He said:

"The Padres, Diamondbacks, and Dodgers will battle it out right to the end. You can't really include the Rockies or Giants since they aren't serious contenders at this point"

What was funny is the Rockies were HALF a game AHEAD of the Dodgers at that point!

Maybe MLB should be more stricter about who can sell tickets! No team should be allowed to sell tickets for the postseason in August unless they are at least 10 games in first

Of Course Mike Ilitch won't like it! but Oh well!

I say tickets should go on sale 9/1. If you are within 10 games you can sell tickets. If you ever get to the point where you are within X games with 3X games to play you should be able to sell tickets (i.e. 3 out with 9 to play).

Really? With the amount of team parity in MLB, [ no team lost 100 or won 100 games in 07] almost every team in MLB could sell tickets! Sure Catbox, make owners like Ilitch more rich! For example, Tigers Fans that paid for tickets in August still haven't got their money back!

I put my playoff invoice for tickets[ 1,175] towards next season but full season bleacher tickets only cost 648 for the whole season, and even if Ilitch raises it to 748 or even 848 dollars for 08, i still should get 300- 400 dollars back; Which I probably won't get until after Thanskgiving or so!

I have an idea! Why not let every team in the playoffs 1-32! Probably the only way the D-Rays would get in the playoffs! LOL!
